Constant cosmic siege

I was chatting with a friend and she shared the phrase that one of her acquaintances used to describe her life and I was just so captivated by it: constant cosmic siege. My story is a wild and crazy tapestry of the many lives I've lived in just my 41 years of life here on Earth. I've known and lost great loves that leave my soul feeling empty and tired. I also know that I am not unique. There are many of us out here, walking through the grocery store crying because we saw Swiss Cake Rolls, trying to just survive the trip to the store. Be kind. You don't know anyone else's story.  I think often of the young man who found Ryan.  I think of Andy's father and cousin. I think of myself and the kids.  I cry a lot .
